Characters/pairings: Erk/Nino, Jaffar
Summary/prompt: Overprotective Jaffar creeping on Nino and Erk. Among my first forays into fanfic. Not a proud thing. But, yeah.
Warnings: huuuuuuuuuuge OOC.
It was a clumsy first kiss, like most were, fumbling on his end, shy on hers, but neither seemed to mind. They parted, each uncertain, but also curious, excited.
Erk was the first to offer a hesitant smile. "W-was it okay?"
Nino smiled back through her blush and nodded. "It was, uhm, it was better than okay. But, ah, I have to, uh, help Mark set up camp. We'll, uh, we'll talk later?"
Erk nodded and waved as she ran off. It would be good to have a minute to think this over, alone. There were far too many complications involved with this sort of thing, but at the same time-
Shiiiing!
Before Erk could process the sound of a blade being unsheathed, there was cold steel pressed to his throat and a tanned hand smothering his mouth.
"Listen up, kid," a gravely voice hissed in his ear. He recognized it immediately- that creepy Black Fang assassin who'd joined along with Nino. Not a fellow he wanted to annoy. "I see you going any further than that with her, and your mama's never having grandchildren. If you know what I mean. Understood?" Erk gulped and nodded quickly.
"Good. You'd better be good to her, kid. They didn't call me 'Angel of Death' for nothing. You kids have fun, now. I'll be watching."
The blade was pulled away, but before Erk could turn to stare, Jaffar was gone.
Well. This is going to be more complicated than I'd thought.
